  • EnergyCore™ frame are tri-extruded with AirCell™ insulated core.
  • Fusion-welded frame and sash for increased strength and durability.
  • Duralite warm-edge spacers provide exceptional resistance to moisture vapor transmission and condensation resistance. Contains no metal.
  • Dual weatherstripping provides an effective barrier against air infiltration.
  • Frame material is 100% recyclable.
  • Available with nailing fin, with or without a J-channel.
  • Multiple glazing packages and options.
  • Extension jambs available in 4 -9/16" or 6-9/16" in either clear pine, primed wood, or stainable PVC. Check with dealers on custom size options.
  • Grilles available as GBG (grilles between glass) or SDL (simulated divided lite). Some restrictions may apply.

Clara Starrett insulated window units come with Duralite® warm-edge spacers in either 3/4" dual pane, or 1" or 1-1/8" triple glazed.

The following glazing packages are available:

Glazing Class 2 (standard package)
Our clear dual pane 3/4" insulating glass units combine two panes of glass sealed, creating an air space, separated by a Duralite non-conductive spacer. This glass offers maximum visible light transmittance and superb energy efficiency in most climates.
Glazing Class 3
This ¾" dual pane glazing package combines one piece of clear glass and one piece of Low-E glass sealed, creating an air space, separated by Duralite nonconductive spacer. This package provides better year-round performance and decreased energy costs.
Glazing Class 4
Same features as Glazing Class 3 with the addition of argon gas fill in the air space. By choosing options like Low-E glass with argon, our windows will meet the most stringent ENERGY STAR® requirements.
Glazing Class 5 (G-R5)*

This package uses 1⅛" triple glazing technology that combines two panes of clear glass and one pane of Low-E glass, creating two air spaces that are filled with argon gas, separated by Duralite spacers.

*This window qualifies for the U.S. DOE R5 High Performance window program when utilizing triple pane with Low-E glass and argon gas fill.

Glazing Class 6
This 1⅛" triple glazed technology package combines two panes of Low-E glass and one pane of clear glass, creating two air spaces filled with argon gas, separated by Duralite spacers.

Envirosealed Windows™ have the most energy-efficient spacer as measured by their U-factor and edge of glass temperatures.
